Clean water, operations, medicines: Help in crisis areas costs a lot of money. The watch manufactory NOMOS Glashütte is therefore building more watches for Doctors Without Borders and their help - worldwide
200,000 euros could now be passed on to the relief organization. In March 2012, NOMOS Glashütte and Doctors Without Borders Germany had started their cooperation with 2000 first watches: the limited special models Tangente and Tangente 33 were built in Glashütte for the benefit of Doctors Without Borders Germany. Now the successful aid project is continued - with a further 2000 watches. 100 euros of each clock flow directly into the emergency aid. However, the customer does not pay more than usual for the NOMOS standard model.
This works, as both NOMOS Glashütte and the trade do without the proceeds. And because these watches are coveted: the first limited special models Tangente and Tangente 33 for Doctors Without Borders were sold out almost everywhere. In the second round of the successful cooperation there will be other NOMOS models in favor of emergency relief - again with red Twelve, again with the inscription "Doctors Without Borders" small under the Six: special model Tangent 38 for Doctors Without Borders and special model Tetra 27 for Doctors Without Borders. From May onwards.

"We are delighted that so many watchmakers have opted for the best of all possibilities: to help themselves and to enjoy themselves with an excellent timepiece," says NOMOS CEO Uwe Ahrendt. "Every look at the clock also reminds all the people around the world who need help at this moment - and hope for help."
One more reason to be happy: cooperations with other sections of the Nobel Prize-winning emergency relief organization are currently under way, such as Doctors Without Borders The United Kingdom and the United States, where sales are starting this spring.
